Montana Emergent Technologies, Inc. Receives $30,000 Stage 2 Matching Funds from Montana Department of Commerce (Montana SBIR/STTR Matching Funds Program Grant Agreement Number 14-50-RCSBIR-004(A)) to Commercialize Biomineralization Technology

May 2014:  Montana Emergent Technologies, Inc. (MET) of Butte, Montana, is pleased to announce that it has received $30,000 in Stage 2 matching funds from the Montana Department of Commerce, Business Resources Division, through its Montana SBIR/STTR Matching Funds Program.  The Program Grant Agreement Number is 14-50-RCSBIR-004(A), and follows $30,000 Stage 1 matching funds previously received.  These matching funds will be used to enhance the commercialization potential of the biomineralization well-sealing technology for which MET received a FY13 Phase I STTR from the U.S. Department of Energy.  More specifically, these funds will be used to initiate pursuit of intellectual property protection, market the technology, and perform ongoing relevant market analyses.  MET is extremely grateful to the Montana Department of Commerce for its interest and support.
